WAL-MART, Senior Programmer - Point of Sale (POS) and Fuel Systems 2004 to 2006
Currently serving as the senior programmer of Wal-Mart's new POS fuel station solution, expected to revolutionize the gas station industry. Acts as the primary contact with software engineers from vendor companies, including Wayne, Gilbarco, and Unitec, regarding all development issues and compliance with new communication standards; collaborates with vendors to define specifications for new features as well as revise existing standards. Devises new applications/processes for automating, controlling, and reporting on hundreds of gas stations and the equipment at those sites. Monitors all stores, troubleshoots bugs, identifies root causes, and deploys fixes.
